What is a Ripple Rescue, and how do I do it?
Ripple Rescues happen for many reasons. These could include, but are not limited to the following:
A team member needs another phone, charger, cord, jumper cables.
A team member needs help with completed a route
A team member needs pointers on efficiency
A team member just needs another team member to show up in support
Call Dispatch at the end of your route
Dispatch will direct you to a team members location and give you a game plan (i.e. drop off your phone cord to them, or pickup 15 stops worth of packages)
Once you arrive at the designation location, Call Dispatch, as the game plan may have changed
If you are going to be rescuing packages off of the team member follow these instructions:
Select the 3 Lines in the upper left corner of the FLEX App
Select "Pickup"
Scan a tote, and any oversize boxes associated with that tote (a tenured driver can assist with determining this)
Once you've scanned the appropriate number of stops for that rescue, swipe to finish.
Select "Start Travel" and continue delivering the route
Once completed, Call Dispatch for further instructions
